Warrior
I was awoken at 5 am to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to paint. I remembered an image I always wanted to paint since a journal entry in high school. Later I discovered that there had been a shooter at my former High School, although many of my students were shaken up- everyone was safe. I felt a confidence rest in my heart and goosebumps as I realized many of the events took place at the same time I was painting. God had me intercede through art, and he was protecting them.
We are called to intercede, to be his prayer warriors, and to be a generation that wields the sword of the spirit, his word, and to cut off the lies of the enemy and carry his presence and hearts that burn.
